Fire Barrier For Building Expansion Joint System

For security reasons,fire barrier is extremely important. It is necessary to maintain the fire integrity of a structure when an expansion joint passes through it. In general, the wider the joint, the more complex the fire barrier is. We have simplified our fire barrier for small joint sizes for easy installation and to maximize cost effectiveness. STFB series fire barrier is approve by Dubai Civil Defence,it is a high performance fire resistive systems for sealing expansion joint openings.The systems are comprised of a flexible, high purity ceramic fiber blanket and galvanized steel or stainless steel as required to achieve a specified protection and endurance rating. Systems are secured directly to the structural concrete expansion joint opening. The fire resistant rating can up to 4 hours.
